where have i been?

two words.
primary president.

be back soon.
i hope.

beckam today, "mom i want to go to target."
me, "why do you want to go there?"
him, "just to look at the stuff they have. i like all the stuff they have."
me, too!

then he told me that grandma doris died today.
"no, she better not have. i will be SO sad and cry a lot when she does."
him, "yes, she did."
let's call her, i say.
ring, ring, ring, ring.
no answer.
i leave a message telling her that's it's very important that she call me back.
and i hang up.
him, "see, i told you."

she called back.
ALIVE and WELL!!
and we're looking forward to our visit with her this weekend.

Cheryl,

You will do superb as Primary President. I'm in the presidency right now and love it.

That's too funny about Jaden and his grandma dying. Brevin came home from school this week saying on his classmates hasn't been in school for over 3 days! He was convinced this friend had cancer "because you're sick a lot when you have cancer." I called the mom and reassured Brevin that he doesn't have cancer. I guess having my sister's have cancer has really effected him?

I love my calling in Relief Society, but Primary is the place to be. Those kids will make you laugh and cry. You will do a fine job! Good Luck!

I too just got called into Primary for the first time. I am a counselor and I love it. I was scared to ever work in Primary but now that I am there I love it. We all got called in January so we are all new!! We had our first Quarterly Activity in February and will have one in April. If you need ideas I've collected a few!!! Yeah - we need to talk. We can share ideas and help each other!!

I still haven't spent much time in Primary. I am sure my time will come. Although, sometimes it feels like being in YW is like being with the Primary kids...

Primary President, I know that one! I have to say if you're going to be a president of any of the auxillaries that's the one to be. Congratulations! And let me know what all of your cute ideas are.
