he arrived with his chord tangled around his body, around his neck and in a knot.he was underwater for a long time while the midwives unraveled him.
AMAZINGLY, he was just fine.
then he had to go back to the hospital twice in his first month for 5 daysbut he's been PERFECT ever since!!
we think he's VERY special.he came out ready for the world!

Happy Birthday Beckam! You are a mover and a shaker! I remember being pregnant the same time your mother was. I had Aaron two days before you were born and left the hospital the day she had you.

Another 2 year old in the world. Watch out! I love those pictures of he and Jaden up against the fence. How did you get them to look like that? He really is such a handsome little boy.
Was he born underwater? (Sorry, I never heard the details.) The cord was wrapped around Jack's neck and entire body too. He wasn't breathing- part of the trauma when he was born. Happy birthday to Beckam. He is such a cute boy!

Yep, Beckam was born in the water! It didn't end up being as wonderful and helpful as I'd hoped but I think the chord issue had a lot to do with that. I think he had a hard time descending because he was so wrapped up, which prolonged my labor. My first birth was much smoother without the tub/chord problems.
